Recently, the "2023 Global Sustainable Development Forum", jointly organized by institutions including The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen and the Shenzhen Data Economy Research Institute, successfully concluded. At this forum, for its outstanding performance in low-carbon management, Sino Biopharm was named to the "Top 100 Chinese Overseas Listed Companies in ESG and Low-Carbon Ranking" for the second consecutive year, following its inclusion in 2022. It achieved an excellent result, ranking 36th, an improvement of 28 places from the previous year.

The "Top 100 Chinese Overseas Listed Companies in ESG and Low-Carbon Ranking" focuses on the top 100 Chinese listed companies by market capitalization on the New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq Stock Market, and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. By comprehensively analyzing indicators such as each company's actual carbon emissions, actual emission reduction effects, quality of carbon information disclosure, and future reduction plans, a scientific evaluation of the company's low-carbon management level and development prospects is conducted, ultimately forming a carbon ranking of 100 listed companies.

As a company that has been selected for two consecutive years with a significantly improved ranking, Sino Biopharm continues to demonstrate the Group's achievements and social recognition in the fields of low-carbon management and carbon information disclosure. It also showcases the Group's determination and commitment to actively addressing climate change challenges and continuously enhancing its carbon management capabilities. In the first half of 2023, Sino Biopharm's carbon reduction efforts once again achieved significant results, with greenhouse gas emission intensity per million RMB of revenue decreasing by approximately 8% compared to 2022.
